Rachel Crozier has been a dedicated teacher for over 15 years, working with as many as 40 students weekly.  She gives lessons to students of all ages, from the earliest beginner through the advanced repertoire.  She teaches in her private studio in Monroe, NY, as well as at Green Meadow Waldorf School in Chestnut Ridge, NY.

As an orchestral musician, Rachel is a member of the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, and serves as Assistant Concertmaster of the Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra. She also performs regularly as concertmaster of the Hudson Opera Theater, and is a member the Taconic Opera. In addition to playing with Amaranthus Ensemble, Rachel enjoys performing as a chamber musician and recitalist throughout the region.

Rachel began playing the violin at the age of eight after begging to play the cello for two years. She quickly fell in love with the violin. She was enrolled in Temple University's Center for Gifted Young Musicians and continued her studies at The Juilliard School. Her teachers include Stephen Clapp, Joey Corpus, Estelle Kerner, and Xiao-fu Zhou.
